Artist: Havana Nguyen

Havana is the child of Vietnamese immigrants who came here as refugees in the eighties. As luck would have it, she is the first of her entire family to be born on American soil and her birthday just happens to be July 4th. Despite the difficulties of growing up Vietnamese-American, she found solace in animated movies and has been drawing ever since she was 3.
