Who gets to tell the stories of the “Vietnam War” and those who were forced to flee? With Viet Unity-LA, Ova Saopeng (“Refugee Nation”), and Drs. Jolie Chea and ChorSwan Ngin, we will weave a collective narrative that centers Cambodian, Lao, Hmong, and Vietnamese refugees.
This is a FREE event presented by the Cal State LA Cross Cultural Centers, University-Student Union, Vietnamese Student Association, and student fees. Homemade Lao food and vegan bánh mì (Việt sandwiches) will be provided.
